What does The Good Host actually do?

How do you know the places are real?
Every suggestion is verified against Google before it reaches you, and shown with its actual rating and review count. Anything that can't be verified doesn't get shown. That's the difference between this and a generated list of restaurants that closed two years ago.
Is this just a travel app?
No. Travel apps are built for the person taking the trip. This is built for the person whose house everyone is arriving at — someone who lives there, isn't a tour guide, and has a job and a week of their own to get through while guests are in town.

Only if they want it. You can simply send them the itinerary or the PDF. If they do join the trip with a code, everything on the guest side is free forever — they never pay and nothing is gated for them.
Which cities does it work in?
Wherever you live. You set your city and how far you're willing to drive, and suggestions stay inside that radius so nothing lands three hours away by accident.
